Those interested in the exchange must fill out the forms available on this page (Application, Letter of Recommendation, Validation of Subjects and Term of Commitment) attaching a copy of the requested documents, always accompanied by the Course Coordination and complying with the specific rules of the Public Notice, if any.

The documents must be forwarded, by the Course Coordination, to the NIURI representative of its Campus, who will later send it to the NIURI Coordination, at the Rectory, for the necessary procedures.

In the Application form, you must indicate the period (semester) you are interested in for the exchange.

The selected candidates will be guided, by NIURI, on the enrollment process in the foreign institution and must deliver copies of the Visa and Insurance.

*It is important that the candidate access the portal of the foreign institution to obtain information about the exchange application process and peculiarities of the university and course, in addition to knowing the country and city where it is located.

About the Exchange - Sobre o Intercâmbio 

The academic exchange program will only be carried out with institutions that have a cooperation agreement with URI for this purpose.

Proficiency in the language of the country where you intend to exchange is essential.

The participation of URI undergraduate students in exchange programs will only be possible from the 3rd semester of the course (or having paid at least 20% of their credits). The student cannot be taking the last year or the last two semesters of the course.

Candidates for the exchange program will be selected on the basis of academic merit, according to the number of vacancies made available by foreign institutions.

The exchange period, for undergraduate students, cannot exceed 2 (two) semesters.
