Some specialties listed by the Federal Council of Dentistry are: Acupuncture, Surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial Traumatology, Dentistry, Endodontics, Esmaltology, Homeopathy, Implantology, Odontogeriatrics, Odontopediatrics, Orthodontics, Periodontics, Oral Maxillofacial Prosthesis, Dental prosthesis, radiology dentistry.

The professional will be able to act in the oral health care in the individual and collective plans in the public and private sectors; integrate health teams, being able to administrate and propose oral health strategies and policies; to dedicate itself to teaching in undergraduate or specialization courses in Dentistry and able to act in auxiliary professions such as dental assistant, dental hygiene technician and dental prosthesis technician. In addition, you can perform clinical and / or expert care within the various areas of specialization of the profession.

URI’s course seeks to train a generalist professional, with solid technical-scientific, humanistic and ethical training, oriented towards health promotion, with an emphasis on the prevention of prevalent oral diseases.
